That's cool! Yoga is for everyone and this retreat is for all levels! I always offer tons of options to make your practice yours while also encouraging you to explore new ways. Opportunities for both mental and physical challenge will constantly be at your fingertips.
-
This retreat is all about YOU and what you want to do. Everyone moves through the world differently and you may require something unique in this experience. You may be in need of alone time, or a bit of R&R on the grounds. Of course, I’d love you at every class and adventure, but they are COMPLETELY OPTIONAL and you are encouraged you to make this all about YOU and what you want.
-
All meals and drinking water will be included! Alcohol is NOT included. Our in-house chef will be nourishing us daily with nutritious & vibrant breakfast. Some lunches and dinners will be at our homes, some will be off site and will be included.

All of your needs can be accommodated. The retreat will offer heavy vegetarian options with some meat and fish also being available. Fruits + veggies will be abundant. Our UH-MAZING team can work with all dietary requirements and food allergies. Just be sure to let me know ahead of time.
-
Flights are not included. There are no direct flights from Los Angeles to Morocco. Ultimately, you will fly into Marrakech (RAK). Morocco is 9 hours ahead of Los Angeles, plus travel time. Please arrive no later than September 8th. You are responsible for your own housing on September 8th. Stay near the airport. Transfer to our home from the airport will be included on September 9th at 12pm. Alternatively, you can get yourself to our home should you choose not to meet at the group pick up point.
Return car service to the airport will be provided on September 16th. If you have a different departure date, you will be responsible for your transfer. Don’t worry, hired drivers are easily attainable and do not break the bank. Please let me know if I can support you.

$1 USD equals about 10 Moroccan Dirham (MAD). If you spend money shopping, most street vendors are usually cash only. There are local ATM's there will be a small fee to take out cash. You can also bring money to exchange at the airport or in the city center. It's also good to have some cash for spa services and unexpected purchases so come prepared with that. Furthermore, maximum cash allowance on your person for travel between US and Morocco is $10,000 USD.
-
A tourist visa is NOT required in advance for travel less than 90 days. If you plan to stay in the country longer, you’ll have to prepare in advance accordingly. A 90 day visa upon arrival is granted for tourism. Ticketed proof of departure is required, whether back to the US or another country. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PASSPORT RIGHT NOW!!! Your passport MUST be valid for 3 MONTHS beyond date of arrival, and you must have minimum TWO blank pages in your passport.

This is highly recommended in case of lost luggage, any unexpected travel delays, or even worse, you get sick or need medical attention. I like World Nomad Insurance, www.worldnomads.com/usa/travel-insurance. I have other friends who have used Allianz and have also been pleased. www.allianztravelinsurance.com. I have no relationship to either of these companies. Please do your research and see what, if any, works best for you.

Having traveled to Egypt and Western Europe, I would HIGHLY recommend exploring North Africa or hopping over to Spain or Portugal. Consider that you are traveling nearly 15 hours to get to Morocco, and it’d be worth it if you could spare another week to adventure locally. Please feel free to reach out for any suggestions.

The deposit is non-refundable. Final payments are due July 7th, 2025. If cancellation is after July 7th, the refund is 50% of the rate (less the deposit). Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury, illness or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete, for arriving late or leaving early.
Please understand that building, preparing and filling retreats takes time and commitments. While we’d love to be able to refund in full if there is truly an emergency, deposits have been made on all housing and resources & this accounts for YOU TOO when you make your commitment.
